best podcasts by comedians

Updated 11/1/21

Podcasts are huge. There’s no denying that anymore. Your favorite late night show on cable? It’s viewership is nothing compared to some of the top podcasts today. And a lot of these top podcasts are run by comedians. It’s a great time to be a comedy fan. For example, you can check out Tuesdays with Stories on YouTube anytime! Check out our list of top podcasts run by comedians.

The Joe Rogan Experience

While it’s not always comedy centric, you have to put JRE at the top of the list. Rogan can have a comedian on one day, a doctor the next, an MMA fighter the next and then a sleep expert. It convers a variety of awesome topics in long form format. And it has come to be the top podcasts in just about all of the world.

The Tim Dillon Show

If you haven’t heard of Tim Dillon yet, it’s about time. If you’re easily offended, it’s probably not for you. Tim does what’s funny. And you’ve got to appreciate that. Do yourself a favor and join his Patreon.

Tuesdays With Stories

Mark Normand and Joe List make quite the team on this one. It’s obvious they are big Seinfeld fans but these guys are hilarious in their own ways.

2 Bears One Cave

If you’re in the mood for a silly podcast, these are your guys. Tom Segura and Bert make a great team.

WTF with Marc Maron

You’ve probably seen one of his specials on Netflix. If you haven’t given his podcast a listen yet, add it to your list.

Legion of Skanks

If you can’t tell by the title, it’s a pretty wild podcast. Definitely not for people who are easily offended. But for people who just like comedy, you can’t help but laugh at the things these guys say.

Ari Shaffir’s Skeptic Tank

His intro rants are hilarious much of the time. Shaffir is a smart guy who has an interesting point of view considering he grew up in a very religious Jewish family.

We Might Be Drunk

This is a podcast from Mark Normand and Sam Morrill. As you can guess, they MIGHT be drinking. Sometimes they even have their very own professional bartender on hand.

Bad Friends

Bobby Lee and Andrew Santino are truly the perfect combination when it comes to silly humor. And with the addition of Rudy and special guests like Doc, it just makes the show that much more entertaining.

Concluding Thoughts

Obviously there are a lot more podcasts we can add to the list. Is there one in particular that you are fuming we didn’t put on the list? Let us know and we’ll update it!

It is January 2021 as of writing this article. It’s safe to say 2020 was a crazy year. With all the hectic stuff going on in the world, it’s nice to have outlets to things that make you laugh. You can even be working and listen to these awesome podcasts. We do it all the time here at Gradual Growth. It’s perfect background noise if you’re not in the mood to fully pay attention either.

Many people started podcasts during quarantine but not all of them deserve a listen. Try adding a top podcast by a comedian to your routine!

Now get out there and give a podcast by a comedian a listen! It’s nice to switch it up from music or pure silence once in a while. Or cars driving by and honking if you live in a crowded city. Got a pod we should add to the list? Let us know! Make podcasts a bigger part of your life in 2022.
